A double-wall corrugated pipe project combines an outer structural profile with an inner wall. The proposed line must match the resin, dimensional range, ring-stiffness or other product requirement, profile design, joint system and factory layout.
RUNNING MACHINE helps buyers define these inputs before discussing extrusion, forming, cooling, cutting and finished-pipe handling.
Typical equipment scope
- Material feeding, drying or blending when required
- Extrusion system for the defined wall structure
- Die head and product tooling
- Corrugator and mould-block sets
- Cooling and forming systems
- Cutting and transfer equipment
- Optional socket, sealing or testing equipment
- Chiller, air supply and other auxiliaries as required
Information needed for a proposal
- Resin grade and use of recycled material, if planned
- Pipe application and product standard
- Outside-diameter range
- Profile drawing and wall structure
- Stiffness or mechanical requirements
- Joint, socket and seal design
- Standard pipe length
- Target output
- Factory power, water, air and ambient conditions
- Workshop layout and handling restrictions
Frequently asked questions
Why is the profile drawing important?
It defines the relationship between the inner and outer walls and affects tooling, forming and material distribution. Diameter alone is not enough for equipment selection.
Can recycled material be used?
State the material plan and product standard. Suitability depends on formulation, layer arrangement and acceptance requirements and should be evaluated for the actual product.
Is socket-forming equipment part of the line?
It can be included when the joint design, size range and production method are specified.
