1. Describe the finished product
- Product type and intended application
- Material or formulation, if known
- Dimensions, tolerances and sample drawing
- Required colors, layers or surface treatment
- Target output and operating schedule
2. Define the operating conditions
- Installation country and local power supply
- Available factory length, width and height
- Cooling-water and compressed-air conditions
- Raw-material form, storage and feeding method
3. Compare the complete scope
Ask suppliers to list the main machine, die or mould, calibration and cooling units, haul-off, cutting or winding equipment, controls, spare parts, installation support and exclusions. Confirm the conditions behind any quoted output rather than comparing one headline number.
