Plastic Extrusion Line Quotation Checklist

A useful quotation starts with a defined product and a written equipment scope. Before contacting a supplier, collect the information below.

1. Describe the finished product

  • Product type and intended application
  • Material or formulation, if known
  • Dimensions, tolerances and sample drawing
  • Required colors, layers or surface treatment
  • Target output and operating schedule

2. Define the operating conditions

  • Installation country and local power supply
  • Available factory length, width and height
  • Cooling-water and compressed-air conditions
  • Raw-material form, storage and feeding method

3. Compare the complete scope

Ask suppliers to list the main machine, die or mould, calibration and cooling units, haul-off, cutting or winding equipment, controls, spare parts, installation support and exclusions. Confirm the conditions behind any quoted output rather than comparing one headline number.

Send this information to Mac Lee when requesting a configuration.
