PVC steel-wire hose combines a flexible polymer wall with embedded helical wire. The wire diameter, pitch and placement must be considered together with the hose dimensions, PVC compound and finished-coil requirement.
The equipment discussion may cover compound feeding, extrusion, wire feeding and forming, combining, cooling, haul-off and winding. Tooling and station design should follow the approved hose cross-section; copied settings from a different hose construction are not a reliable basis for quotation.

Can the wire specification be changed on one line?
Possible changeovers depend on the forming system, tooling and hose range. Provide every planned wire and hose specification so the required adjustments can be assessed.
What should be agreed before acceptance?
The parties should define the sample material, hose specification, test method, operating conditions and included equipment in the commercial quotation or technical agreement.
