Drip irrigation pipe equipment must match the finished irrigation product. Pipe or tape geometry, emitter or outlet design, spacing, inspection method and coil format can all change the required process sequence.
RUNNING MACHINE begins the discussion with the irrigation product drawing and the intended production method. Depending on the design, the scope may involve feeding, extrusion, filtration, forming, emitter handling or outlet processing, cooling, pulling, inspection and winding. No single station list fits every drip product.
Information needed for quotation
- Drip pipe or drip tape product type
- Resin grade and additive information available
- Pipe or tape dimensions and wall range
- Emitter type, dimensions and insertion method, if applicable
- Outlet or punching design and required spacing
- Inspection and rejection requirements
- Coil length, winding format and packing method
- Target production rate or annual volume
- Local power, cooling water, compressed air and factory layout
Why product definition comes first
Emitter handling, spacing accuracy, outlet processing, online inspection and winding must work as one process. A quotation should state which of these functions are included and which require buyer-supplied parts, consumables or test equipment.
