
Small-diameter dental suction tubing requires a clearly defined tube geometry and downstream handling plan. The polymer, inside and outside dimensions, flexibility, surface condition, tip interface and cut or coil format should be treated as one product specification.

- Intended tube use and buyer-specified product requirements
- Resin grade, color and transparency requirement
- Inside diameter, outside diameter and tolerance table
- Single-lumen or other specified cross-section drawing
- Flexibility, kink and surface requirements with test methods
- Tube length or coil format and allowable handling marks
- Tip or connector drawing and assembly responsibility
- Inspection, cleanliness and packing procedure supplied by the buyer
- Target output stated as pieces, metres or mass with its basis
- Factory power, cooling and environmental conditions
Points to confirm before ordering
- Use a dimensioned drawing and named measurement method rather than relying only on a photographed sample.
- Confirm which inspection instruments, gauges and records are included in the line scope.
- Separate tube extrusion from tip manufacturing, assembly, sterilization and final medical-device release unless each item is explicitly included.
- Agree the trial resin and packing method before the factory acceptance test.
Frequently asked questions
Does the extrusion line certify the final dental product?
No. Equipment operation and sample measurements do not replace the buyer's material qualification, product validation, regulatory work or release procedures.
Can the line produce other small flexible tubes?
Potential products depend on resin behavior, tooling, dimensions, tolerance, cooling and downstream handling. Provide each intended tube drawing for a project-specific review.
Can tip assembly be integrated?
It can be discussed after the tip design, tube interface, assembly method, inspection and cleanliness boundary are defined. It should be quoted separately from the base extrusion line.
